assalamu alaikum everyone hope you all are having a good day this is me shivra javed from katrina and along with me i have the same old face mumbai kali khan from gateway study links of course right so before starting our speaking module of uh language cert we are going to tell you about speaking uh that how many parts does it have and you know we are just going to give you an overview or general view of speaking module of language search it will help those basically who are trying to go to uk basically over there this particular test is helpful and uh we are going to mimic or giving you a demonstration or a mock on language if you are taking it as not in center but online okay and i am going to be the candidate and our respective teacher ms shibra she would be uh interlocutor and of course the examiner too so let's get started mr brown yeah sure.

Pre-Test Identification Check

Part 1: Introduction and Questions on Familiar Topics

right so uh language search international spoken esl exam communicator level your exam begins hello my name is shibra can you spell your family name for me please hi there my name is mubarak and my family name is khan k h a n khan right thank you which country are you from i'm basically from pakistan thank you now part one i am going to ask some questions about yourself and your ideas so your first category is interests okay so what is your favorite movie uh as far as i am concerned i am not the one who watches movie a lot but recently i have given up a watching and that was hachi it was a dog's tail right okay another question is do you like adventurous holidays if you could have asked this question a decade ago when i was quite younger than i am now i could have said easily yes to it now i'm more cautious to go to the places where i am going for example when it comes to such northern areas where i have to go for a hike or something or maybe air ballooning or maybe skiing or something so i am quite reluctant nowadays right okay now i'm gonna ask questions from your home so where do you live basically i'm living in capital of pakistan that is islam here we have a specific sector named i8 and there i live right so what is your favorite thing about your home as far as my home is concerned there are numerous things i think i like and the most important one is the lawn we have here that's a very small one i would call it a 10 by 10 lawn where i have a dog as a pet where i usually play with him his name is scooby so i like that the most right so your next category is your family okay so how many cousins do you have and how often do you see them normally it is not a technical question but in my case mashallah we have i have seven paternal ants and almost five maternal hands so i cannot calculate to be honest with you they're numerous uh but i would say they are more than 20 of my age right my next question is when was the last time you went to a big family event well whenever we have any feast we meet the last time it was birthday of my younger sister so i invited all of them at my house so there i joined them and that was a good feast and good ball right thank you this is the end of your part one thank you.

Part 2: Role-Play Situations

okay now we are going to do part three that also contains like three minutes and uh now we are going to discuss something together all right okay so we are planning a part for a friend let's talk about what kind of point you have and make some decisions right so here are some ideas this is your idea it says candid task sheet right yeah justice party yes okay [Music] okay am i allowed to write oh yeah you can all right do i have to touch up one before you start a story for asking this do i have to touch upon all the things like you mentioned place food type of party music time i've touched upon all right yes for how long are we going to speak on that three minutes all right okay all right am i out of time yep good to go right uh peace out ah miss chipper as you know that we are just uh announcing a party of just birthday party basically so i hope you do not have any i uh have any problem with the place we choose do you have something in mind going on or should i go yes um i think you should go for jim's house or tina's house that would be good uh but you know the mummy or she is more you know troublesome over there she won't allow us staying there you know after 11. so i guess we should go for some recreation center where we have uh you know uh a good area where we can enjoy have fun of course uh kind of reunite sort of stuff over there would be right i think that's that is also a good idea recreation center fine and did you think of some food or something what are we going to offer to the guest everyone should bring or we should you know give them only snacks what do you think about that i guess it could have worked if we could have gone to their house right but now since we're going to recreation center we have to order something over there too so i guess ordering a buffet would help of course it would not cost that much what do you think okay uh i think that's a good idea right great you know because besides i'm a big fan of their fish so i guess we should add fish over there too yeah sure why not okay i think that we should go for buffet then all right all right so what type of party is that like are you planning to uh you know organize a costume party since it's a birthday party so i would suggest rather going for a costume party let's make it a surprise birthday party where we just asked her to come let's say for an interview or something that's the thing and if we are doing so i guess it would make it more clear or rather she'd be more happy once we surprised her how about asking her to come for an interview over there and then she she comes with her resuming and of course she must have she must be wearing something good and then we just you know hit the bill and just re-enjoy that yeah i think i really like your idea and i do want to add some music in that what's in your head um yeah i was thinking about that too so i think you should go for jessie's favorite series what about that because as you were planning a surprise party for jesse so i think you should go for jesse's favorite music of course let's make it in this way that we play the favorite music of jesse as well as let's ask some local band to come to play justice music so that both of our ideas would inculcate in that manner yes i really agree and i really like your point of view and that's a good idea great and what about the starting time hmm uh as you are planning so i really want you to tell me that what time you are uh do you think that would be very perfect for the party i think you should uh i think party should start at six what do you think about that um since i am calling her for some job was night-based job okay besides party at sex gonna cost us a lot since you know we are students already i don't want to spend much so let's make it in the later part of the night for example around 10 we hit it okay and then till the party goes on it's up to the friends of course we cannot stop them to enjoy yeah yeah starting at 10 would be fine or what's your idea what you're saying okay i think uh i agree i really like your idea right thank you for cooperating with me so i guess we are done with the place the food the type of party music and time yes all right so thank you so much thank you for your time.

right so yeah this was your part three okay now we are going to do part four that consists of like four minutes including follow-up questions okay right so in that you are going to talk on on your own for about two minutes okay okay so do you have a pen on the page with your phone yeah i do have that man okay so um can i show that yeah yeah i was making some notes over here already right okay so here is it you want me to start on fresh page or uh you can you know just till the page all right right okay okay so um now you have 30 seconds to prepare yourself on that okay okay and your topic is fun places to go on holiday okay before you start the timer do i have to talk about international tours or national tours you are going to talk about um anything all right yeah because as you are going to talk about the holiday okay so uh all right i'm good to go right please start oh today i'm going to talk about fun places to go on holiday as far as i'm concerned i'm a person who likes to go to solitude quite often whenever it comes to any kind of activity where i can spend some time by myself i'm more happy on that i'm one who's happy on water sports uh as well as water sup spots okay uh i'm the one who likes to go with the family and uh making some barbecue etc would give me some ultimate pleasure since i can eat as well as i can cook when i talk about my own country there are three four different places i normally go to when i am in the boat to make some fun uh one is nearby to capital that is murray okay murray waterway is a good place to of course travel through and then we reach somehow on maul road murray nearby there are some places i do have my apartment over there too so we are basically you know we go and we have fun over there um secondly another new recreational one is dino valley in islamabad that is also part of it people call it dino or dino but that's a name so i'm not sure about it uh that's a place where i can i can go with my uh friends as well as my uh siblings too and then if i talk if i have more time so i would like to go to some north part of pakistan uh there i would like to visit some uh places like narang or babusa top top or such kind of places and if i have more time so my trip to skardura or chalas would be my preference so i would like to go over there too i guess that's pretty much about the fun places or holiday i had to speak on thank you okay thank you so much thank you so now i'm going to ask some follow-up questions which also will be related to the same topic okay okay right so what are some fun places to go on holiday yeah so i would list it again if it is my own country so i am more into the mountainous range where i can go and enjoy by myself for example marie narayan sugra sawat kalam malam jabba such kind of places i guess these are local places here in indigenous indigenous sports to enjoy right okay so my second question is why would you choose to go to these places well uh with my hectic routine as i'm a professional myself so whenever i get a time i would like to go and say hello to some greenery uh so that's why i would like to go to such places where i can find water as well as lush green greenery right okay so my third question is how many of these places have you been to uh almost all just could not plan for sugra i went nexus basically in next to quran and before narang but i had a rush so i had to go to the run straight forward i could not take the past on the right on the top to go to sugar and then there were two more places like saripay that is the uh undiscovered place for me for now rest are being ticked in my calendar okay so my last question is what makes a place fun to go to on a holiday i couldn't catch your question can you come again yes what makes a place fun to go to on holiday well that's a company basically which come which people do you carry with for example when i go with friends the uh the fun part is and the level of fun is different when i go with the family of course the funnest different responsibilities are there too if it's a trip with my students of course i have to behave like an adult to take care of them so that's a separate thing so basically i guess it's company which matters uh because a man is known by the company he keeps yeah okay uh thank you so much this is the end of your part 4.
