Final Call: Italian Universities Still Open for 2025 Intake
Recorded on 2nd June 2025, and with so much already happening — from visa checklists to scholarship announcements — this is your final chance. We’ve already published two videos on visa processes that performed really well, and a third one on the DSU and Poli scholarships is on its way. That means application season for Italy 2025 is nearing its end.
So, in this post, we bring you a list of 8 to 10 Italian universities that are still open for applications. If, for any reason, you couldn’t apply earlier — maybe your documents were delayed or you missed deadlines — this is your chance. Let’s talk about these universities and their last remaining deadlines.
University Deadlines Ending in a Few Days
Let’s begin with high-priority universities. Though we’ve listed them generally, these are at the top because their courses are extremely limited — and closing this week.

University of Bologna: One of the top universities in Italy and globally ranked. Very few selected courses are still open — and those will close within the next 4–5 days from 2nd June. If you’re targeting Bologna, you barely have time left. This is your last chance, as no further calls are expected.

University of Pisa: Still open as of now, but expected to close by the end of this week. If you’re watching this weeks later, it’s probably already over for you. But if you’re seeing this around early June, check the deadline immediately. Some universities might extend their deadlines, so verify once on the official site.
Universities with Slightly Longer Deadlines
Some universities still have some time left, but don’t wait till the end. Applications close once seats are full — regardless of what the deadline says.

Marche Polytechnic University: The last call opened on 1st June 2025 and will remain open till 1st July 2025. But don’t rely on the full deadline — seats may fill early, so apply as soon as your documents are ready.

University of Siena: Still open for Bachelor’s programs only, and the deadline is 12th June 2025.

University of Insubria: Offers a direct enrollment Master’s course in Computer Science. The deadline is 30th June 2025.

University of Palermo: Open till 20th July 2025, giving you a bit more time, but again, early application is always better.

University of Cassino: Open only for Bachelor’s programs. Master’s are already closed. This university can close any day once seats are full. So if you’re interested in Cassino, apply fast.

University of Eastern Piedmont: Another option currently open. While there's no clear deadline announced, expect it to close by end of July 2025.
Universities with Direct Enrollment & Flexible Timelines
Some universities allow direct enrollment and have tentative or rolling deadlines, but even those could close once quotas are filled.

University of Naples Parthenope: Direct enrollment is allowed. Tentative deadline is 30th June 2025 — no official announcement yet, but based on last year, it will likely close around that time.
